Brief About Omega Psi Phi Scholarships & Fraternity

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. is the first fraternal society in the world to be established at the site of a historically black university.

The award was created to honor the late Honourable Brother H. Carl Moultrie, I. was The first Executive Secretary National of the Fraternity and the former chief justice of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

Dr. Benjamin E. Mays Divinity Scholarship

The scholarship aims to fund studies at the graduate level in divinity or religious studies. The scholarship was created in September of 2017 and was given approval from the Supreme Council in honor of the late Dean Professor of the Howard University School of Divinity.

This award grants financial aid to a student Brother who best exhibits the most fundamental values of Manhood and Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift.

The award was created in honor of a teacher and minister who was generous and the founder of the original Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. His daughters Clarice, Davis, and Vivian Deer along with other members from St. Louis Community founded the award. St. Louis Community founded the award.
