Wayewar safiyar alhamis ɗin yau, kowa na gidamu na tsakar gida an zauna ana karin kullo safen, tun daga yaran har manyan, haka ƙa’idar gidanmu take a duk sanda zaaci abinci musamman karin kumallon safe to haɗuwa ake gaba ɗaya, yaranmu da iyayenmu mata, su manyanne ake kai musu nasu ɗaki, sai Baba ma da yake yin nasa a ɗaki da shi da wadda girki ke hannunta.
Kowa abincinsa yake ci hankali kwance amma banda ni wadda natsuwa ta ƙarauce mata dalilin birkicewar tunani tun kwanaki biyu da suka wuce, abincin na gaba ina kallonsa amma hankalina gaba ɗaya baya kansa, tun inama jiyo sokiburutsun Adawiyya harna daina ji, na kuma ma daina ganin komai dake wakana a wajen, sai hoton Gwaggona da Kulu dake haskawa cikin idona a wancan daren da kuma maganganunsu.

Ni kuma Inna Amarya ta hauni da faɗan matuƙar ban daina wannan tagumin ba raina zai ɓaci, Adawiyya ma tace mata aiko abincinma banci ba, nan ta kuma hawarni da faɗa sosai har sai dana ci abincin ba dan ina so ba kuma ba dan yayi min ɗanɗano a baki ba, ina da saka abu a rai sosai ko ya yake.
Baba ya kira sunana yace na kira masa Ya Amadu ko Ya Kabiru, har na miƙe sai yace na koma na zauna ya manta banda lafiya, Adawiyya ta tashi taje. Ya Amadu ya gyara zama faɗin,”Allah yasa abunda nake tsumayi ne”. Ya faɗi hakan yanaa faɗaɗa fuskarsa da fara’a. Ya zaro takardun ya dudduba sannan ya fara yiwa Baba bayani farinciki tattare da shi,”ai takardun scholership ne wato tallafin karatun makaranta amma wannan ba daga gwamnati bane na masarautar bichi ne”. Baba yace,”ah to masha’Allahu, da sunaye ajiki ne?”. Ya bashi amsa da,”a’a babu sunaye, takardun dai mutum uku ake nema, kuma na yara ne da zasu shiga jss1 to ss1 bawai na ƴan jami’a ba”. “to Amadu wacce makaranta ce?”. “makarantar gwamnatin tarayya ce dake Minjibir amma fa ta kwana ce”. “makarantar kwana kuma?”. “ehh Baba”. Gwaggo dake gefe tace,”kace adu’a tace ta amsu, ni dama ai na jima ina yiwa yaran nan kwaɗayin makarantar kwana”. Baba ya dubeta yace,”kin san kuwa makarantar kwana? ke bakiji irin illolinta da ake faɗa ba”. Ya Amadu yace,”ta Mata ce zallah, dan Allah Baba ka amince a miƙa yaran nan Mairo da Adawiyya da Habiba tunda kaga dukansu jss2 zasu tafi”. Baba yace da shi,”ni bance eh ba, ban kuma ce a’a ba, kawai dai ka aje takardun a wajenka zuwa lokacin da zan yanke shawara”.
